Didn't preorder it, so I'm not sure when I'll be able to get it. The world's smallest Gamestop in my town, had almost 200 preorders and people waiting around the block to pick theirs up.

But 8 of my friends picked it up and I was able to play it for a few hours after they got it.

Lots of fun.

I don't own a Wii.

Other than that, I will always cherish Super Smash Bros. Melee... me and my 3rd and 4th place finishes in two tournaments as Samus are good enough for me.

Lost to Marth to get 3rd in my first.
Lost to Donkey Kong to get 4th in my second.

I had preordered it at EBGames, but I'm not in Montreal to pick it up (AAAAAAAH). So I'm gonna have my father doing it either today or tomorrow; in a week and a half, I should be able to play on it. Can't. Wait. Aaaaaaah.

oO I don't have it but I have friends who do. Need to go over and play it sometime... or maybe my bro will get a Wii for his birthday in 3 weeks, then he can get that and I can play it at home. oO Have heard it is awesome though.

I dont have a Wii myself, but I do hope to get one in the future. A few of my friends did get the game so I went to one of their houses last night to play it. Didnt get to try the online fighting though cuz I got there too late, but the game is fun. After only a few times playing, it looks like I'm going to be best with King Dedede. =)

I wouldn't bother with the freeloader, as soon as Nintendo release a new console update the thing will stop working, just as the last one did. They do claim that it won't happen this time, but I really don't know how they can know that for sure, unless it blocks the update - meaning you will never be able to update the console.

I'm excited about Brawl, but I'd rather wait for the PAL version than risk wasting so much money to import it, especially after hearing all these stories about the game not even working.

i just got it the other day and i agree with cherng butter. Pit needs a nerf BIG TIME (also ike). zero suit samus is also alot better than i thought; kinda a mix between sheik and mewtwo. too bad i have to play as normal samus to use her (no offense to any1 who likes samus ( i see a few) but it's been hard learning a new character).

I love how you guys are talking about nerfing SSBB but we all complain when GW skills get nerfed. Just found it funny.

You can hold Z (or whatever shield button) down when selecting character through selecting stage to start off as Zero Samus. And yeah Pit is pretty overpowered, but I guess his weaknesses are his light weight and poor reach for a sword user? Lol, I love using him though. Pikachu ain't half bad either.

ummm no. the current opinion in the competitve scene is that wolf, toon link, and olimar are top tier. as much as i like ssbb, i think sakurai is a serious troll irl. first he says that there wont be any clone characters in brawl, and low and behold we get THREE versions of fox. 2nd, as the creator of kirby, he did NOT need to add 3 kirby characters to the game. i mean there are so much better underrated characters from nnintendo games that would have been awesome, such as anyone from Golden Sun. good fighting games nowadays balance by making everyoen stronger instead of nerfing the powerful. too bad....

still love brawl though. looks awesome.

Apparently, you can, as it's gamespy/ign servers rather than nintendo and they haven't got any american system authentication

uhh...do you even own a Wii? Sure the online play is limited, but not many Wii games have the option for online gameplay, so Brawl is one of the first, thats impressive. Lackluster console? There is nothing "lackluster" about the Wii, all the articles that say how Wii has outsold PS3 4 to 1 or outselling the Xbox, and in case you didn't know, Wii's are used in retirement homes, which opens gaming to the elderly, which to my knowledge, has not happened with the PS3 or Xbox, maybe, just maybe it's because the controller, DOES NOT use a d-pad, it actually gets you up and moving (which is why is so succesful, if you were too daft to realize that).

No More Heroes isn't a game for kids, it has all the blood and gore you could ask for.
P.S. those "kiddie" games for the Wii actually sell very well, because they are fun, it doesnt need gore, blood etc to be fun...Guild Wars doesn't have blood OR gore, but yet, you still play that.

My boyfriend got Brawl when it came out, and I don't see anything childish about it, your goal is to KO your oppnent, whats childish about that?

Not really...they may have the same Final Smash, but while their moves may be similar, they are different, which means, we didnt get three Fox clones.

Oh, and, has anyone been able to do Wifi matches yet? Whenever I try to do it, I can't locate anyone, I guessed their servers aren't up yet? I dunno.
